It gives me great pleasure to inform you that I have appointed Peter du Plooy as the new H.O.G. Regional Chapter Director for the Western Cape. Peter will be responsible to assist Cape Town Chapter, Tyger Valley Chapter, Breede River Chapter and Garden Route Chapter with HOG related issues.

 

On behalf of H.O.G. Africa I congratulate Peter on his appointment and I am confident that he will add value to your Chapters and to H.O.G. Peter has vast experience as a H.O.G Member and Exco member of Cape Town Chapter. He has served on the Chapter committee in various roles, most recently as Secretary and Membership officer.

I have just returned from Las Vegas where I attended the 2012 Rally Coordinators Training course and I look forward to sharing what I learnt with you. There were three International teams, one team from Canada and seven teams from the USA. We are most certainly up there with the very best the world has to offer – maybe not in Rally participant numbers but most certainly with our ability to organise the best rallies and events that HOG anywhere in the world can offer.

It makes me proud to be a HOG member in South Africa and to be in a position to serve all H.O.G. Members and Chapters. We can most certainly hold our heads up high.
